We have two winners!

Looks like our crew is really celebrating doesn't it!  That's because we had over 100 entries for our rainy day give-away with the help of Pieces by Polly, who even introduced me to rafflecopter.  I guess automation is okay, although I kind of like hollaring up the staircase at my husband "hey honey, I need two numbers between one and one hundred and nineteen."  He always picks good winners, too - and I pay him in kisses!

So we chose two winners and they are: Leah and Heidi!!  So their boxes will be going out tomorrow, and in each box will be six pieces for a total of 3 yards! I would show you their fabrics, but unfortunately, I still cannot get my camera working{={  So I borrowed my husbands camera - and I can't get it to talk to my computer - who invented these things anyway?!?

Tomorrow I'm going to go shopping for a new camera, a friendly one I hope!  Anybody have any suggestions?

Well, it's raining again....

Polly over at Pieces by Polly  made a darling quilt using some fabrics she got from me recently. You should definitely hop over to her blog as she is posting about it today, and I think you'll find it a fun quilt.  While you are there, be sure to enter the drawing we're having.

bolts we got in a couple of weeks ago - we've had a bunch more arrive since then

That's right, since we pretty much sold out of the fabrics in Polly's quilt during a recent sale, someone is going to be the lucky winner of a selection of new fabrics we just got in.  I'd post a picture of them, but my camera fried and died this week, and I haven't bought a new one yet. So the prize package will really be a surprise!  If you want to check out some of the new fabrics we've been getting in, just click and go to the website!

Now for more chances to win you have several options: post a comment here, like us on facebook, post a comment over at Pieces by Polly, like her on facebook.  See four chances to win and all fairly painless. And with the holidays coming around the corner, who wouldn't want to win some great new fabrics!?

And if we have more then 100 entries, I'll add a second prize, just for fun!  We'll post the winner(s) on Sunday after noon August the 11th - good luck!
I've never tried rafflecopter before, but Polly recommended it so here we go.

The Other Giveaway winner

Finally some pictures of what Courtney won!  I have been having a terrible time with my camera - everything is coming out really dark, but we will see how these show up! In Courtney's box there is a book panel, Elf on the Shelf and some peppermint chevron fabric to 'go with'.

There is also a Beary Fun Day panel and two supporting fabrics. You can't really see it in this poor picture, but the blue fabric has cute little mice all over it!

And then there are three pieces from each of the two new groups we just got in: Gettysburg on the left and Twelve Days of Christmas on the rignt. All of these fabrics are from Quilting Treasures, and all of them are on our website.
And just for fun
this Dresden Plate has been hanging in the shop for the last little while. It was pieced and quilted by my husbands Grandmother and Great Grandmother I don't know how long ago. After they were both gone, his Mother took it home intending to bind it, but after she went to the nursing home we found it, still in the original box (thirty years old) and the binding fabric folded up inside the quilt, waiting to be finished. So it came home with me, and I did the binding, making a four generation quilt out of it. It has pride of place in my living room, except when it is on display here in the shop for special occasions.
